Lives Enriched and Fulfilled

June 15 is World Elder
Abuse Awareness Day

Each year on June 15, communities around the world come together to recognize World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) — a day dedicated to raising awareness about the mistreatment of older adults and promoting the importance of dignity, safety, and respect for our aging population.

We all play a role in protecting vulnerable adults in our community — whether by learning the signs, becoming a legal guardian, or simply checking in on an older neighbor or loved one.
